Reporting Line:

  • GM (Operations)
  • MD (Finance and Strategy)

Purpose:

  • Own all financial operations. Ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and full compliance with Lagos and federal tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and performance reports.
  • Maintain strict controls across cash, revenue, stores, and procurement.
  • Lead budgeting and rolling forecasts tied to occupancy and revenue trends.
  • Manage cash flow, banking, reconciliations, and asset register.
  • Oversee tax compliance: VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT.
  • Handle FIRS and LIRS audits, queries, objections, and reconciliations.
  • Validate PMS/POS/ERP data accuracy.
  • Review food cost, beverage cost, wastage, and purchasing discipline.
  • Guide and supervise the finance team.
  • Provide financial intelligence to GM and MD for operational and strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • ICAN or ACCA.
  • At least 6 years finance experience with hotel background.
  • Strong track record managing tax authorities in Lagos.
  • High analytical skill, control discipline, and system competence.
