GVA launched its activities in 2017, and has since been operating in 9 countries (Gabon, Togo, Congo, Ivory Coast, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda) and 14 cities (Libreville, Port-Gentil, Lomé, Pointe-Noire, Brazzaville, Abidjan, Kigali, Rubavu, Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso, Kinshasa, Goma, Kampala, Cotonou).As part of its expansion in Nigeria, GVA is looking for a Financial Controller based in Ibadan.Job DutiesThe Financial Controller will be responsible for the accounting and the financial monitoring of the subsidiary, by setting up and improving dashboards and monitoring indicators, in close collaboration with the other departments.TasksAdministrative managementEnsure a strong interface with the operational services, especially the accounting departmentDetermine and implement the necessary means to ensure the proper functioning of the company's reportingEnsure the optimization of the internal management tools.Closing and reportingPrepare financial statements and escalate accounts in accordance with the GVA monthly and quarterly closing scheduleEnsure the consistency and the reliability of the elements reported, in coordination with operational managersAnalysis of variances with budget forecastsBudget development and monitoring, support for the financial management of the activityParticipate in the budget process and the preparation of the periodic forecasts.Set up reporting and monitoring of analytical KPIsHighlight and analyze the gaps between the achievements and the budget and participate in making corrective actionsControl and track expenditure commitmentsAnalyze, prepare and present the figures for Business ReviewsManage cash flow monitoring in coordination with GVA's finance team for capital raisingMonitoring and evolution of the GVA analytical repositoryFollow and adapt the analytical repository.Expected delivrablesMonthly reporting Group ManagementAnalyses ad-hoc (Capex, KPI…)Inventory monitoring reporting: (inventory, valuation, disposal, ...)Budget forecasts and updatesAlerts and recommendation reportGap Analysis ReportRequired profileEducation and ExperienceHigher level education (Bac +4/5) in FinanceSignificant experience of at least 3 years in an audit firm or financial departmentSkillsPerfect mastery of the Microsoft Office Pack, especially ExcelKnowledge of an ERP and Power BI would be an assetGood accounting cultureExpected behavioursAbility to synthesize and analyze.Rigor and organizationIntegrityVersatilityTeam spiritGood interpersonal skillsResponsiveness and pragmatism
