Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electric Motor Rewinder to join our dynamic team in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and rewinding electric motors, transformers, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:


• Diagnose and repair electric motors, transformers, and other electromechanical equipment.


• Perform rewinding, reconditioning, and testing of AC and DC motors.


• Inspect motor components for wear, damage, or faults and recommend appropriate repairs.


• Use precision tools and equipment to measure and test motor performance.


• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and testing procedures.


• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during repairs.


• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service to clients.

Requirements:


• Minimum of SSCE or technical certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.


• Proven experience (minimum of 3 years) as an Electric Motor Rewinder or in a similar role.


• Strong knowledge of electric motor systems, including AC and DC motors, transformers, and generators.


• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, winding machines, and other relevant equipment.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.


• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Preferred Qualifications:


• Vocational training or certification in motor rewinding or electrical engineering.


• Experience working with industrial motors and heavy machinery.


• Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site or at client locations.
