Our client, a reputable company, is seeking a qualified and experienced Accounts Officer to join their team. This role is based in Victoria Island, Lagos.  Always keep records of creditors for management information. Check bank reconciliation and updating of cashbooks. Must be skillful in using SageBusiness Cloud Accounting Software   Monthly payroll processing and reconciliations. Maintaining the accurate and timely processing of general ledger reconciliation and journal entries. Ensuring accurate and timely accounting reporting; monthly, quarterly, and year -end close.  Post sales and purchase invoices to ledgers. Receive all invoices for jobs and processpayments to vendors.   Post journal entries to Accounting system. Assist with month -end closing procedures and ensure timely completion. Manage petty cash and prepare regular reconciliations. Liaise with external auditors during annual audits. Maintain accurate and up -to -date accounting records in compliance with Nigerian accounting standards Requirements   Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related courseEither ATS Certification or ICAN/ACCA Certification in view or completedMinimum of 2 -3 years of experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role.Proven understanding of accounting principles and practices.Strong analytical and problem -solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).Applicants must resident in Victoria Island, Gbagada, Oworo, Bariga, Apapa Road,Obalande,Yaba, Surulere and EnvironsIn -depth knowledge and experience with Sage Business Cloud accounting software is a must.
