Fire Fighter

JOB DETAILS:

• Eko Maintenance Limited is seeking a full-time Firefighter to join our team in Victoria Island.
• The primary responsibilities include inspecting properties for fire safety compliance, responding to various emergencies, and participating in fire prevention programs.
• The Firefighter will also maintain station facilities and equipment, document fire incidents, and conduct emergency rescues.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties for health and safety compliance, focusing on fire prevention and emergency preparedness.
• Respond promptly to fire alarms, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and urban rescues to safeguard life and property.
• Participate in fire prevention programs and ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Maintain fire station facilities and ensure firefighting equipment is in optimal condition.
• Document all fire alarm activations and fire incidents with detailed reports for management review.
• Conduct emergency elevator rescues as trained by Eko maintenance.
• Communication, honesty, responsibility, collaboration and awareness is key in any task

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Firefighter.
• Certification as an emergency medical technician (EMT) is highly desirable.
• Proficient in first aid and CPR techniques.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 per month.
