Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Studies Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature to students, delivering engaging lessons, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach English Language and Literature effectively across junior and senior secondary levels.

  • Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.

  • Develop students' skills in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.

  • Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication in students.

  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of B.A./B.Ed in English Language, Literature, or related field.

  • Higher qualifications such as M.A. or M.Ed are an added advantage.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From ₦60,000.00 per month
