Launched in September 2025, we're now scaling post-launch and seeking talent to enhance our platform's web frontend for even better user engagement and performance.

Job Overview

We're hiring a skilled Frontend Developer (Web) to join our remote team and build responsive, interactive web interfaces using with TypeScript. You'll focus on delivering seamless experiences for features like the Category System, Joint Shopping, and AR Try-On previews. Collaborate with our design and backend teams in an agile environment to iterate and optimize for the Nigerian market's unique needs. This 4-month contract starts immediately and aligns with our ongoing sprints to refine and expand the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web components using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and for core features such as Authentication & Onboarding, Product Views & Favorites, and Status/Reels/Feed System.
• Integrate frontend with backend APIs using for server-side rendering and real-time updates (e.g., inventory management and live sessions).
• Collaborate with mobile developers and our AR specialist to ensure consistent UI across web and mobile, including AR product previews.
• Optimize frontend performance for scalability, accessibility, and cross-browser/device compatibility, adhering to web standards and SEO best practices.
• Implement interactive elements like voice prompts, social feeds, and installment payment interfaces, iterating based on QA feedback and user testing.
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups to deliver features on time, such as Marketplace Pop-Ups and Wishlist Social Features.
• Ensure code quality through version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and adherence to design guidelines for a cohesive Nigerian market aesthetic.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including Flexbox/Grid, animations), JavaScript/TypeScript, and for API integration.
• Proven experience building responsive, mobile-first web applications, ideally for e-commerce or social platforms.
• Familiarity with state management (e.g., Redux/Context API), component libraries, and tools like Webpack or Vite.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, backend devs) in an agile setup.
• Strong problem-solving skills for handling real-time features like live haggling in Marketsquare or AI-driven recommendations.
• Detail-oriented mindset to create intuitive UIs supporting diverse users, including non-tech-savvy Nigerians.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WebAR integration or AI features in frontend development.
• Knowledge of Nigerian cultural aesthetics and multilingual support (e.g., RTL for local languages).
• Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS/Azure) and testing tools like Jest or Cypress.
