Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Finance Assistant/ Intern to join our finance team. This role supports day-to-day accounting tasks, data entry, and reporting in a fast-paced environment, with hands-on learning opportunities for recent graduates pursuing a career in Finance and Accounting.

Core Function

Provide administrative, clerical, and operational support to the finance team, ensuring efficient record-keeping documentation.

Responsibilities


• Maintain organized digital and physical files for all finance documents.


• Assist with data entry, reconciliation, and petty cash management.


• Handle correspondence between the finance team, staff, and vendors.


• Maintaining and updating the pending payment schedule.


• Ensure all supporting documents for payments and receipts are properly filed and retrievable.


• Carry out clerical tasks required in the finance department and any other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements and Skills

B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, or related field.

Candidate must hold a 2:1 degree or higher

1+ years of post-NYSC experience in finance or accounting.
