Job Purpose/Summary

The Personal Investment Advisor will be responsible for supporting and contribute to retail sales by identifying & selling to potential customers; build relationships & understanding the needs of potential retail customers.

Key Functions/Responsibilities

Act as the first line of engagement for enquiries, providing information about the company's products and services

Effectively engage with customers via email, telephone, social media or any other means

Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives

Improve customer experience to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, referral, and market growth

Market and sell products and services to potential customers

Participate in marketing and awareness campaigns to increase the company's customer base and contribute to setting financial targets

Follow up on potential sales leads through market research and networking

Manage business relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure sales growth

Contribute to the formulation and monitoring of the unit's market penetration strategies and customer relationship plans to increase market Share

Prepare regular reports/updates to the Group Head Sales

Regular update of the database of client information, requirements, goals, and progress report

Perform any other responsibility as assigned by the Head, Retail Sales from time to time

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration or business-related discipline

Minimum 3 years' post NYSC working experience in sales, relationship management, client acquisition, preferably within investment banking, asset management, or financial services.

Possession of relevant qualification; CFA will be an added advantage
