Job Opportunity - HR Executive

A beauty and wellness brand with multi-outlets operations dedicated to transforming self-care experiences operating in Lagos, Nigeria is seeking a proactive and organised HR Executive to join their team. The HR Executive will support and manage day-to-day HR operations across multiple retail/service outlets.

The ideal candidate for this role is a hands-on HR generalist who enjoys field work, supervising junior HR staff, and ensuring smooth operational execution.

The HR Executive will support the HR Lead with strategic implementation while taking full ownership of daily HR activities.

Key Qualifications

Education & Professional Background

  • 3–5 years HR experience, preferably in retail, hospitality, beauty, fitness chains, or customer-facing operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; HR certifications are a plus.
  • Strong operational HR skills and administrative discipline.
  • Good supervisory experience or the ability to manage junior staff.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Good working knowledge of labour regulations and HR processes.
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and HR documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HR operations and ensure consistent HR compliance across outlets.
  • Supervise two junior HR officers (HR Assistant & HR Admin).
  • Assist with recruitment, including screening, interviews, and hiring for frontline roles.
  • Manage attendance, rota updates, shift planning, and leave coordination.
  • Support onboarding, documentation, and employee file management.
  • Conduct field visits to outlets to monitor HR practices and resolve issues.
  • Handle employee relations escalations and assist with investigations.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure accuracy of attendance/allowances.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and training coordination.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide operational insights to the HR Lead.
