Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Solar Installation & Maintenance Instructor located in Port Harcourt. The instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs in solar technology, including system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Day-to-day tasks include preparing instructional materials, conducting practical and theoretical training sessions, mentoring students, and evaluating their progress. The instructor will also ensure adherence to safety standards and industry best practices during all training activities.

Qualifications

• Technical expertise in solar energy systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Strong instructional and presentation skills to effectively deliver training content
• Prior experience in mentoring or coaching individuals in technical or vocational fields
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and practices
• Ability to design training materials tailored to various skill levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse student groups
• Proficiency with relevant tools, equipment, and software used in solar energy systems
• A degree or certification in renewable energy, engineering, or a related field is preferred
