Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Lagos State, Nigeria, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Deputy Head of Human Capital Management will oversee the design, implementation, and management of strategic human resource initiatives. Responsibilities include developing and enforcing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing employee relations, supporting talent acquisition and retention, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The role will require close collaboration with leadership to drive organizational goals through effective HR strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management
  • Strong knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and HR Policies
  • Experience in managing Employee Relations and fostering workplace engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute talent acquisition and retention strategies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Relevant certifications, such as SHRM, CIPM, or HRCI, are a plus
  • Experience in a multinational or high-growth organization is an advantage
