Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an AI Engineer, based in Lagos with flexibility for some remote work. The AI Engineer will design, develop, and maintain AI and machine learning models focused on educational solutions. Responsibilities include building and fine-tuning neural network architectures, applying natural language processing techniques, and implementing cutting-edge pattern recognition systems. The engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI technologies with educational goals while ensuring scalability and usability.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development
  • Experience with Neural Networks and expertise in Pattern Recognition
  • Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and applications
  • Ability to build scalable, efficient, and innovative AI solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with educational technology and tools is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3yrs of experience building AI technology at scale
