Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Partnership Manager to identify, build, and manage strategic business relationships that drive growth and market expansion. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and experience in partnership development within fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard business partners to support OPay's expansion strategy.
  • Develop and execute partnership plans that drive revenue, customer acquisition, and product adoption.
  • Manage the full partnership lifecycle—from prospecting, negotiation, contracting to activation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key external partners and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to deliver partnership initiatives.
  • Track partnership performance and provide periodic business reports and insights.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to uncover new partnership opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in Partnership Management, Business Development, or related roles (preferably in fintech, telco, financial services, or FMCG).
  • Exceptional negotiation, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Target-driven and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools is an added advantage.
