Online Merchant Business ManagerPalmPaySalesLagos Full TimeIT & Telecoms ConfidentialMinimum Qualification :Job Description/RequirementsJob SummaryPalmPay is seeking a passionate, strategic, and detail-oriented Online Merchant Business Manager to drive online merchant acquisition, growth, and retention. The ideal candidate will identify business opportunities, onboard merchants, and expand PalmPay's online payment solutions — including Pay with Transfer , Pay with Wallet , and Payouts — across multiple sectors.This role requires strong analytical ability, sales acumen, and relationship management to optimize merchant performance and enhance transaction volumes through PalmPay's ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute merchant acquisition and growth strategies to increase online transaction volume and revenueIdentify, engage, and onboard new fintech, e-commerce, and digital service merchants across diverse industriesBuild and manage relationships with key online merchants, payment gateways, and PSP partnersCollaborate with internal teams (Product, Tech, Risk, Compliance) to ensure seamless merchant integration and onboardingAnalyze merchant performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and revenue optimization strategiesDrive merchant retention through proactive engagement, service quality, and solution enhancementEnsure all activities comply with card scheme rules, AML/CFT requirements, and internal risk policiesStay informed on emerging trends in payment technology, digital commerce, fraud prevention, and regulatory developmentsRequirementsBachelor's Degree or HND in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related fieldProven experience in Online merchant acquiring, fintech sales, or online payment gateway managementStrong understanding of online payment channels — Card, Transfer, Wallet, USSD, and API integrationsExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsHighly result-oriented, self-driven, and capable of meeting sales and revenue targetsStrong knowledge of local business markets and digital commerce environmentsAbility to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teamsPreferred Skills & AttributesSolid understanding of the fintech and payment ecosystem in AfricaOnline Merchant salesFamiliarity with API-based merchant integrationsAnalytical mindset with ability to interpret transaction data and identify growth driversPassion for digital innovation, financial inclusion, and customer-centric solutionsWhy Join PalmPay?Be part of one of Africa's fastest-growing fintech companiesCompetitive compensation and performance-based incentivesOpportunity to impact the future of digital payments across emerging marketsPowered by JazzHRgAg3F0z2e0
