About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Supermarket Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and support staff to achieve sales and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of store staff.
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and well-presented at all times.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve any issues efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels, deliveries, and stock rotation.
• Assist in scheduling shifts, training new employees, and monitoring performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and hygiene standards.
• Support management in achieving sales targets and implementing promotions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a supermarket or retail environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer literacy (POS systems, inventory software, MS Office).
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
