Role Overview:
The Dealer Network & Market Expansion Associate will drive GDX Equip's growth in the northern region by developing new dealerships, strengthening existing partnerships, and expanding the company's market presence in the woodworking and furniture manufacturing sectors. The role requires a strategic, results-driven professional skilled in business development, negotiation, and market analysis.
**Key Responsibilities:
Dealership Acquisition & Maintenance**
Identify, onboard, and maintain dealership opportunities to expand GDX Equip's product reach.
- Build and sustain strong dealer relationships through consistent engagement and visits.

Market Research & Opportunity Identification
- Conduct detailed market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitor strategies.
- Actively prospect and engage potential clients through networking, cold calls, and industry events.

Strategic Sales & Partnership Development
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate and close deals that ensure long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track KPIs such as dealership activations, revenue growth, and conversion rates.
- Prepare and present reports and insights to support decision-making.

Marketing Collaboration
- Work with the marketing team to design and execute regional campaigns.
- Help identify key target audiences and promotional strategies to enhance visibility and engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of
5–8 years in business development within power tools, industrial machinery, or related sectors. - Proven success in closing large deals and partnerships.
- Strong communication and team coordination skills.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian market and northern business landscape.
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making ability.
- Self-starter with a strong drive for business growth.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience leading complex business initiatives.
