The Role: Your Mission

As a Business Development Officer (BDO), you will be the driving force behind the expansion of Ezaply's B2B partner network. Your primary focus will be on identifying, negotiating, and onboarding key education consultants and recruitment agencies in Nigeria , transforming them into successful, active users of the Ezaply platform.

Key Responsibilities (B2B Focus)

Partner Acquisition: Strategically identify, research, and contact high-potential student recruitment agencies and education consultants in the target market.

Relationship Building: Initiate and nurture strong, long-term working relationships with agency owners and senior management via cold calls, emails, networking, and in-person meetings.

Negotiation & Onboarding: Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, and manage the full B2B sales cycle from initial contact through to successful partner activation on the platform.

Market Intelligence: Stay informed on competitor activity, visa changes, and international education trends in Nigeria and other key recruitment markets to refine our partnership strategy.

Targets & Reporting: Meet and exceed ambitious monthly and quarterly targets for new partner acquisition and engagement, reporting on pipeline progress and market feedback to the leadership team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated success in a B2B Sales, Business Development, or a partnership-focused role.

Industry Knowledge (Mandatory): Direct experience working with or for an education consultancy, overseas student placement agency, or EdTech company is highly preferred.

Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Must be confident and articulate when dealing with business owners and senior partners.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Nepali (must be able to draft professional business correspondence and pitch decks).

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
