We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful Junior Litigation Associate to join our Benin office. This role is ideal for a lawyer with strong analytical skills, a passion for courtroom practice, and a genuine commitment to professional growth within a structured and high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in case preparation, legal research, and the drafting of pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Attend court proceedings and manage cause lists under the supervision of senior counsel.
• Support the development of case strategy and preparation of evidence and witness materials.
• Liaise with clients, court officials, and external counsel to ensure effective case management.
• Contribute to internal knowledge development and maintain a culture of diligence and teamwork.

Requirements

• LL.B and B.L with 2–3 years post-call experience in active litigation practice.
• Strong legal research and analytical ability with sound knowledge of civil procedure.
• Excellent drafting and written communication skills.
• Confident oral advocacy and courtroom presence.
• Integrity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn under guidance.
