About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will support the HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations across the organization — including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role is critical in fostering a productive, compliant, and positive workplace culture in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process — job posting, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Maintain and update employee records (both digital and physical) in compliance with company policies and data protection laws.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, and leave management.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee performance.
  • Support performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Prepare HR-related reports such as turnover rates, leave summaries, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company regulations, and industry standards.
  • Assist in planning staff welfare and engagement initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support in disciplinary, grievance, and exit processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sector.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and HRIS systems.
