Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a wide range of baked goods while ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to hygiene standards. This role requires creativity, precision, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment..
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked products
- Follow standard recipes and production schedules
- Measure and mix ingredients using bakery equipment
- Decorate and finish baked items when required
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and baking tools
- Monitor inventory and report shortages or equipment issues
- Ensure all products meet quality, taste, and presentation standards
- Assist in developing new recipes or improving existing ones
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Work independently and within a team to meet daily production targets
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef (2+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and tools
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain product consistency
- Good time management and multitasking ability
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Creativity and passion for producing high-quality baked goods
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Residents of Obada Oko or nearby areas are strongly encouraged to apply.
