We are seeking a passionate and meticulous leader to manage our client's production operations and help scale success without compromising on the craft.

The Production/Operations Manager will be the engine of the kitchen. You will oversee the entire production process, from sourcing raw materials to ensuring the products are perfectly packaged and ready for delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the weekly/monthly production schedule to meet sales demands, ensuring optimal efficiency and resource utilisation.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative, safe, and productive environment. Conduct training and performance reviews.
  • Enforce and continuously improve strict quality control standards to ensure all products meet our brand's high standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Analyse production processes to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements for efficiency, waste reduction, and cost savings.
  • Oversee the maintenance and sanitation of all production equipment and the kitchen facility, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • HND/BSc
  • At least 3 years of experience in a production management or supervisory role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry (confectionery, bakery, or dairy is a plus).
  • A strong understanding of food safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
  • Proficient with inventory management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Remuneration and benefits:

  • Salary - =N=180,000 Net
  • HMO
