Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Production Manager to oversee the end-to-end production process at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong preference for those with furniture or woodwork industry backgrounds. This role is pivotal in ensuring production efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, organize, and control production schedules to meet customer and internal deadlines
· Oversee all manufacturing operations including machining, assembly, finishing, and quality control
· Ensure production output meets company standards for quality, cost, and delivery timelines
· Lead, mentor, and supervise production team leads and line supervisors
· Coordinate maintenance of machinery and production tools to minimize downtime
· Collaborate with design, procurement, warehouse, and QA teams for seamless production flow
· Implement best practices in manufacturing including lean production, 5S, and process optimization
· Prepare and present production reports and KPIs to management
· Monitor inventory levels and support supply planning with procurement team
Requirements & Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or HND in Production Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field
· Minimum of 10 years experience in a manufacturing or production management role
· Strong background in furniture, cabinetry, or wood-based manufacturing is highly preferred
· Proven track record of managing teams and delivering high-output production lines
· In-depth knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization
· Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software/tools
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
