We are hiring for the role of a Junior Architect

Employment Type: Full - time (On-Site)

Work Hours: 9am -6pm (Monday to Saturday)

Salary: 150k (Can be negotiated) with benefits

Location: Yaba, Lagos

We are seeking a qualified, creative, and detail-oriented Architect with proven experience in Revit and SketchUp to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, developing, and reviewing architectural drawings, models, and specifications that align with project standards and objectives.

This role requires a balance of design creativity and technical precision, ensuring that all architectural outputs meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements. The Architect will also conduct periodic site visits to ensure that construction work aligns with approved designs and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

-Develop and refine architectural concepts, designs, and working drawings using Revit and SketchUp.

-Produce comprehensive construction documentation, including layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.

-Collaborate effectively with engineers, consultants, and contractors to achieve coordinated and high-quality project outcomes.

-Conduct scheduled site inspections to review progress, workmanship, and design compliance.

-Identify and resolve design discrepancies or technical challenges during project execution.

-Ensure that all architectural works comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

-Participate in design coordination meetings and provide professional input to enhance project delivery.

-Maintain organized drawing sets, models, and digital records throughout all stages of design and construction.

-Prepare and issue design revisions, as-built updates, or change documentation when required.

-Contribute to material selection, specification reviews, and project planning.

  • Manage multiple design tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining design integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2–3 years' professional experience in architectural design and documentation.

  • Proficiency in Revit and SketchUp is essential.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Lumion, or Enscape is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of architectural detailing, building systems, and construction methods.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

  • High attention to accuracy and detail in all drawings and submissions.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Willingness to attend site visits and ensure alignment between design intent and construction.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • May occasionally be required to work beyond regular hours when deadlines or key site activities demand.
