Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc ("Dangote Sugar" or "DSR") is a leading name in the Nigerian sugar refining sector. Our operations date back to the 1970s, and today we are the largest sugar refining facility in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a capacity of 1.44MT per annum. We supply refined sugar to consumers and industrial markets in Nigeria and export to regional markets. Our goal is to help Nigeria achieve self-sufficiency in sugar production and create over 100,000 new employment opportunities through our "Sugar For Nigeria" Project.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Shift Supervisor located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Shift Supervisor will oversee the daily operations and ensure that production targets are met efficiently. The role involves monitoring the performance of machinery and personnel, enforcing safety protocols, maintaining quality control standards, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth workflow. The Shift Supervisor will also be responsible for reporting any issues and implementing improvements to enhance productivity.

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Experience in production management and operational efficiency
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing or food processing industry is a plus
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production Management, or a related field
