We are seeking a Senior Graphics Designer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping our visual identity.

Position Overview
:

We are looking for a Senior Graphics Designer who will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and executing high-quality visual content for TEDxMaitama's digital and print materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, branding, and user experience, along with the ability to translate TEDxMaitama's vision into compelling visual narratives.

Key Responsibilities
:

• Lead the design and creation of graphics, videos, animations, and other multimedia content for TEDxMaitama's events, social media, website, and marketing campaigns.
• Develop creative concepts and visual strategies aligned with TEDxMaitama's brand identity and messaging.
• Collaborate with the marketing and events team to design promotional materials, including banners, posters, brochures, flyers, and social media assets.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of TEDxMaitama's brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all visual touchpoints.
• Create engaging motion graphics and video edits for event promotions, speaker highlights, and other content formats.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high design standards.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, best practices, and emerging tools to continuously enhance the team's creative output.
• Collaborate with external agencies or freelance designers as needed to supplement the in-house team's capabilities.
• Assist in the design of TEDxMaitama's website and digital platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, offering constructive feedback to help them grow.

Required Qualifications
:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a graphic designer, with a proven track record in creating compelling visuals for digital and print media.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign), Figma, or other design tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design expertise across various mediums, including digital, print, and video.
• Experience in motion graphics, video editing, and animation is a plus.
• Solid understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and visual composition.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Passion for TEDxMaitama's mission and a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Skills
:

• Experience working with global brands or non-profit organizations.
• Familiarity with website design and development (HTML/CSS, WordPress, etc.).
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their visual requirements.
• Ability to think creatively and push the boundaries of conventional design.
