Position Overview

The Driver will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely driving of our client's company executives. The role involves maintaining company vehicles in excellent working condition, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations, and upholding the organization's image through professional conduct and appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive company executives to and from designated locations in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and serviced regularly.
  • Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fueling, mileage, and travel logs.
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, considering traffic, weather, and road conditions.
  • Comply with all traffic rules, regulations, and company policies regarding driving and vehicle use.
  • Promptly report any accident, incident, or damage involving company vehicles to the appropriate authority.
  • Ensure the vehicle is always stocked with necessary documents such as insurance papers, roadworthiness certificate, driver's license, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times, especially when transporting executives and sensitive materials.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with Lagos routes and traffic laws.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Trade test certificate (is an added advantage).
  • Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Punctual, reliable, and disciplined with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Must be physically fit and mentally alert.
  • Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work occasional on weekends, or overtime as needed.
