Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Terminal Repair Engineer to join our Lagos office team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain POS terminals and related equipment, ensuring reliable service for our clients. This role is crucial as we finalize new partnerships for repair business this week.

Job Details

  • Job Title: Terminal Repair Engineer
  • Location: 309A, Island Way, Dolphin, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Experience Needed: At least 2 years in electronics repair, preferably with POS terminals or similar devices
  • Required Skills:
  • Hands-on expertise in repairing and troubleshooting POS terminals and payment devices
  • Strong knowledge of hardware diagnostics, soldering, and component replacement
  • Ability to perform functional and connectivity tests on repaired units
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills for logging repairs and generating reports
  • Willingness to work under supervision and collaborate with field teams

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair faulty POS terminals and payment equipment
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure repaired units meet operational standards
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and testing outcomes
  • Assist in the deployment and retrieval of terminals as needed
  • Collaborate with field support officers to resolve on-site technical issues
  • Provide feedback on recurring issues to improve equipment reliability
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace for efficient repair operations
