At Odichi, a Social Media Associate is mainly responsible for managing social media pages for our clients. You will be developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. You'll create compelling content, analyze performance metrics, and stay ahead of industry trends. This is an entry-level role, and the starting salary is ₦60,000. This is increased by a fixed percentage for every month you stay with the company to encourage growth and dedication.

The responsibilities for this role include

  • Effectively handling the social media pages of 4-5 brands. (You will be provided tools and steps to simplify this process.).
  • Creating, managing, and updating content and content calendars (posts, stories, reels, videos, etc.) that align with brand voice and goals for assigned projects. Content calendars are created once a month using your creativity along with the existing system and format.
  • Daily posting on social media pages for brands assigned to you.
  • Researching trends, keywords, memes, videos, ideas, and strategies to help in the management and growth of your assigned brands. Adding the selected ideas to the content calendar.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activity.
  • Suggest influencer partnerships and user-generated content initiatives.
  • Spending assigned time minutes daily per brand, depending on the brand) on brands' pages engaging, interacting, and researching.
  • Communicating with clients for assigned projects.
  • Working closely with the graphic design department.
  • Coming up with ideas and suggestions for ads, promotions, and social media growth.
  • Creating growth plans when needed for certain brands using the existing system and format.
  • Tracking KPIs, analyzing performance, and adjusting content & strategies based on insights.
  • Generating monthly growth reports using our existing template.
  • Finding and repurposing memes and videos for assigned projects

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Basic video editing skills.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
  • Experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing.
  • Valid certifications in social media/digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with paid social advertising.
  • Knowledge of marketing and branding principles.
