We are looking for a talented and creative Social Media Associate to be the voice of Belema across all digital channels.

Role Overview

The Social Media Associate will be responsible for executing the daily social media strategy, creating engaging content, monitoring performance, and fostering direct community engagement. This role is crucial for managing brand reputation, driving traffic, and ensuring our online presence reflects our innovative and trustworthy brand image.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation and Curation: Develop, write, edit, and schedule engaging, brand-aligned content (posts, images, short videos, stories) for all major platforms, including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Community Management: Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all channels in a timely and professional manner. Escalate high-priority customer service or technical issues to the appropriate teams (e.g., Customer Support).
  • Campaign Execution: Assist the Marketing Manager in executing planned social media campaigns, product launch promotions, and timely content efforts tied to current events or financial literacy themes.
  • Performance Tracking: Utilize social media analytics tools to track key metrics (engagement rate, reach, impressions, traffic) and report on performance weekly, identifying what content performs best and suggesting optimizations.
  • Brand Voice and Consistency: Ensure that all social media content is consistent with Belema's brand voice, tone, and visual guidelines, maintaining a professional yet approachable presence.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, best practices, and relevant competitor activity within the FinTech space to inform content strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience managing professional social media accounts for a brand, preferably in the FinTech, Banking, or Technology sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Content Skills: Proven ability to create high-quality, thumb-stopping content, including basic graphic design skills (e.g., using Canva or similar tools) and video editing for short-form content.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Experience using native platform analytics (e.g., LinkedIn Analytics, Twitter Analytics) or third-party social media management tools.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written communication skills, creativity, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive, self-starter attitude.
