Job Summary

We are seeking a State Inventory Officer to join our client's growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and reporting inventory. This includes ensuring accurate record-keeping, efficient distribution, proper stock documentation, and compliance with company inventory control procedures.

The role is crucial in maintaining data accuracy and supporting seamless logistics and operational functions across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities


• Monitor and track inventory levels within the assigned state to ensure accuracy and availability.


• Conduct periodic stock reconciliations and report discrepancies to the central operations or supply chain team.


• Ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing stock using company-approved tools or inventory management systems.


• Coordinate with warehouse or distribution personnel to verify deliveries and stock movements.


• Maintain updated inventory reports and submit daily, weekly, and monthly summaries to the Operations/Inventory Control Unit.


• Support logistics and field officers in ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of materials.


• Escalate issues such as stock shortages, damages, or inconsistencies to the appropriate unit promptly.


• Adhere to company policies on stock handling, documentation, and confidentiality.


• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Field teams to ensure alignment in reporting and accountability.

Requirements


• Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in any discipline (NYSC completion required).


• 1–3 years of relevant experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics, preferably within a Fintech, FMCG, or Supply Chain environment.


• Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.


• Proficiency in using Excel, Google Sheets, or inventory management software.


• Excellent communication and reporting skills.


• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and meet strict reporting deadlines.


• Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and organizational discipline.


• Must own a smartphone or computer with reliable internet access.
