HotSports Nigeria Ltd, a leading sports marketing organisation with nearly 30 years of industry experience, is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and monthly reconciliations.
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and collections.
  • Support budgeting, cashflow management, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax and regulatory standards (VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.).
  • Assist with internal and external audit processes.

Requirements

  • BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 2-3 years' experience in accounting (media/marketing experience is an advantage).
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
  • Strong Excel skills and good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws.
  • High integrity, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills.
