Job Description

The Senior Graphic Designer will lead the creative execution of all visual assets for ValourPoint Holdings and its subsidiaries. You will be responsible for upholding and evolving our brand identity across digital, print, and social platforms. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on design, ensuring that every piece of content—from corporate reports to social media campaigns—meets the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Stewardship: Conceptualize and maintain a cohesive visual identity for ValourPoint and its diverse business units.
  • Creative Execution: Develop high-end marketing collateral, including brochures, annual reports, digital ads, and presentation decks.
  • Digital Design: Create engaging visuals for our website, newsletters, and social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and executive teams to transform strategic goals into compelling visual narratives.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design briefs simultaneously, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Competencies

  • Visual Excellence: Advanced understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and composition.

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in UI/UX design or digital marketing (added advantage).

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within a corporate environment or a reputable creative agency.
  • A proven track record of managing full-cycle design projects from conceptualization to final production.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across print and digital media.

Tools and Software

The successful candidate must be highly proficient in the following industry-standard tools:

  • Adobe Creative Suite: Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is mandatory.
  • UI/UX Tools: Proficiency in Figma or Adobe XD for web-based design projects.
  • Presentation Tools: Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides for corporate decks.
  • Motion Graphics (Optional but Preferred): Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro for short-form video content.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand business objectives and translate them into effective design solutions.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working across different industries and pivoting styles to suit various subsidiary brands.
  • Communication: Strong ability to present and justify design concepts to non-creative stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: A "pixel-perfect" mindset with a rigorous approach to proofing and final output quality.
