Responsibilities:Design and subsequently examine and evaluate theeffectiveness and adequacy of the internal control systems. Perform tests on both the functioning of specific internalcontrol procedures and transactions.Conduct regular control checks on cash, inventory, expenses,dispatch, and production reports.Evaluate and ensure compliance with existing Companypolicies and procedures, identifying and proposing modifications as needed.Review the responses to internal and external auditmanagement letters and queries to ensure that recommendations are implementedand all action items are resolved.Provide support to the company's anti -fraud programs.Undertake special investigations that may be required toforestall mismanagement of Company resources.Report on control deficiencies to management and makerecommendations to mitigate risk and add value.Challenge current processes across the company and identifyopportunities for refinement.Engage in remediation of identified issues throughfollow -up.Play an active role in the maintenance and review ofpolicies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with alllegislation and best practices.Conduct mystery shopping exercises and any other assessmentsas may be assigned from time to time. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, accounting, or related roles.Strong understanding of internal control principles, audit methodologies, and risk management practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent analytical and problem -solving skills, with attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast -paced environment.Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and best practices in internal auditing.
