General Description

The FTTH Project Quality Manager will be responsible for leading and supervising the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) projects in full compliance with established standards and specifications. The role involves developing and implementing effective quality management strategies that drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across all project phases.

The ideal candidate will define and optimize quality control procedures in close coordination with deployment and maintenance teams, ensuring that all QA objectives, performance targets, and KPIs are consistently achieved. Additionally, the FTTH Project Quality Manager will identify skill gaps within the quality and field teams, organizing and facilitating targeted training programs to enhance overall competency and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the FTTH quality assurance team to ensure high-quality project delivery and compliance with standards.
  • Develop and implement quality management strategies, promoting continuous performance improvement across the project.
  • Establish QA compliance objectives and ensure all project targets and KPIs are achieved.
  • Define and optimize quality control procedures in coordination with deployment and maintenance teams.
  • Identify training needs for quality and field teams; organize and deliver relevant training sessions.
  • Prepare and submit project quality reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) as required by management.
  • Drive proactive quality improvement initiatives and ensure consistent adherence to company standards.
  • Share best practices and lessons learned with all team members to enhance overall project performance.
  • Manage and resolve major quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
  • Comply with all internal company rules, administrative requirements, and reporting procedures.

Qualification & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of quality assurance experience in the telecommunications industry; prior experience in FTTX/FTTH projects is highly preferred.
  • Proven leadership ability with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and team management capabilities.
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written); local language proficiency is an advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of Quality Assurance tools and methodologies used in telecom engineering.
  • Quality audit certifications (e.g., ISO9001:2015, TL9000) are a strong advantage.
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently under pressure.
