Role Summary

We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support the company's data needs. You will work closely with engineering and other teams to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, security, and usability—enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architectures.
  • Manage databases and processing systems to support structured and unstructured data.
  • Implement processes for data integration, transformation, and automation.
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize data systems for reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure data consistency, integrity, and compliance with security standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Conduct analysis and generate reports to support business insights.
  • Stay informed about emerging data engineering tools and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Experience with programming languages (preferably Ruby).
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Digital Ocean, etc.).
  • Experience with visualization tools (Google Data Studio, PopSQL).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Git and Excel.

  • Remote work structure (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday).
