Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement the overall strategy for agency banking to drive growth, profitability, and market share.
Work with all stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the Agent Banking and Financial Inclusion strategies of the Bank
Regularly review agency banking operations against regulatory standards, the Bank standards, agent contracts, service level agreements, and regulatory requirements
Lead initiatives to improve agent performance, customer experience, and transaction volumes.
Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and innovative channel offerings.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Drive partnerships with fintechs, aggregators, and other stakeholders to enhance distribution reach.
Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management and regulators.
Education/Qualification
- A Bachelor of either Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or any related field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in retail or digital banking, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within agency banking
- Proven track record in developing and executing channel expansion strategies.
- Strong understanding of financial inclusion, digital payment ecosystems, and agent management models.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
