Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and versatile Senior Electrical Engineer who also possesses strong IT and systems integration skills. This role involves leading the design, implementation, and support of complex electrical systems while integrating IT solutions such as networking, automation, and smart technologies. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between hardware and digital infrastructure to drive innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Engineering:

Lead the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for industrial, commercial, or building infrastructure projects.

Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes (NEC, IEC, IEEE) and safety standards.

Perform load calculations, system analysis, and fault analysis.

Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.

Conduct root-cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective measures.

IT and Systems Integration:

Integrate IT systems into electrical designs—e.g., IoT devices, SCADA, PLCs, building management systems (BMS).

Manage network configuration and secure data communication between devices and control centers.

Work with software teams to interface hardware with cloud-based platforms or internal databases.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software interface issues in the field.

Maintain documentation for networked systems, control logic, and system architecture.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

7+ years of experience in electrical engineering roles.

Strong knowledge of power distribution, control systems, and circuit design.

Proficient with tools like AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or EPLAN.

Experience with PLC programming, SCADA, or HMI systems.

Solid understanding of IT networks, TCP/IP, firewalls, and cybersecurity principles.

Hands-on experience with sensors, relays, automation systems, and embedded hardware.

Familiarity with scripting or coding (e.g., Python, , or bash) for automation or data acquisition.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, Modbus, OPC-UA).

Cloud platform integration (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud).

Experience in renewable energy systems, smart grids, or microgrids.

Industry certifications (e.g., P.E., Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+).

Knowledge of cybersecurity in industrial environments (ISA/IEC

Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
