Position Overview

As a Senior Video Editor at TEDxMaitama, you will be responsible for bringing the TEDx vision to life through high-quality video content. You will collaborate with our creative team to produce and edit videos that showcase our events, speakers, and community initiatives. This role requires a creative storyteller with strong technical expertise in video editing and a deep understanding of TEDx's mission to inspire, educate, and empower audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing:
  Edit TEDxMaitama event footage, speaker talks, promotional videos, and social media content to produce engaging, high-quality videos that align with TEDxMaitama's brand identity.
• Post-Production:
  Handle all aspects of post-production, including color correction, sound design, visual effects, and final output for various formats (YouTube, social media, website).
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with the creative team, including the Director, Producers, and Designers, to understand project goals and deliver creative video content that meets the highest standards.
• Project Management:
  Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and videos are delivered on time. You will also be responsible for organizing, storing, and archiving video assets.
• Content Optimization:
  Ensure video content is optimized for different platforms, such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook, maintaining an understanding of current digital trends.
• Storytelling:
  Use your skills to craft a compelling narrative, ensuring that each video communicates the TEDxMaitama message in a clear and impactful way.

Requirements

• Experience:
  At least 5 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across various formats.
• Technical Skills:
  Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Creativity:
  A strong eye for visual storytelling, with the ability to edit content that is both visually appealing and conceptually strong.
• Communication Skills:
  Ability to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and incorporate feedback.
• Attention to Detail:
  Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Adaptability:
  Ability to work under pressure and adjust quickly to changes in project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Live Event Editing:
  Prior experience in editing content for large live events or conferences is a plus.
• Motion Graphics Knowledge:
  Ability to create or collaborate on motion graphics to enhance video content.
• Social Media Savvy:
  Familiarity with social media video formats and trends to ensure our content performs well online.
• Cultural Awareness:
  An understanding of diverse cultural contexts, as TEDxMaitama serves a global audience.
