Company Description

Skylight Thrift Co-operative Investment and Credit Society Limited (PSYCHICAL, RS:32936) is people-oriented Co-operative Society based in Nigeria and provides microfinance products and services to members through thrift savings, soft loans, essential household needs (dba Skylight Co-operative).

Role Description

1.     Develop and execute business strategies to achieve organizational goals and drive growth.

2.     Provide strategic advice to the Managing Director with accurate insights on market trends and the company's future.

3.     Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are effectively communicated and strictly adhered to across the organization.

4.     Build and maintain trust-based relationships with business partners, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.

5.     Manage budgets efficiently and optimize operational expenses.

6.     Communicate company strategies, objectives, and results to employees at all levels.

7.     Collaborate with HR and departmental heads in overseeing key hiring decisions.

8.     Delegate responsibilities effectively, supervising and motivating supervisors to maximize performance.

9.     Review reports from unit heads and discuss key insights with the Managing Director.

10. Represent the company as a spokesperson, strengthening its corporate image and public profile.

11. Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the business to ensure smooth functioning.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Operations, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage).

·       Minimum of 5 - 7 years of proven experience in a senior operations or leadership role, preferably within financial sector.

·       Strong track record in strategic planning and business growth.
