We're Hiring: Project & Events Coordinator at KKLS – Awari

If you're passionate about creating world-class event experiences, building partnerships, and driving commercial impact, this role is for you. At Awari, we're building premium events and cultural experiences that connect communities, brands, and businesses across Lagos, and we're looking for a strong Project & Events Coordinator to help lead the charge.

Role Overview

We're looking for someone who can plan, execute, and scale events that deliver both impact and revenue. You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Editorial, and Operations to ensure every event reflects Awari's brand excellence while driving measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution

Conceptualize and coordinate Awari-hosted events with clear revenue targets.

Build event strategies around positioning, audience targeting, and engagement.

Manage budgets, project plans, timelines, and logistics

Ensure all events uphold Awari's brand standards.

Revenue Generation & Partnerships

Identify & onboard partners, merchants, and sponsors.

Maintain and grow partner relationships.

Track event revenue, ROI, lead conversions, and business outcomes.

Event Marketing & Promotion.

Work with Marketing/Editorial on campaigns, newsletters & social media.

Oversee pre-event communications & registrations.

Lead post-event engagement, nurturing, and retention communications

Cross-Functional Project Coordination

Support digital growth initiatives across teams.

Coordinate timelines, deliverables & activations.

Manage operational processes tied to events and campaigns.

Operational Excellence

Track event metrics, redemption, and engagement.

Produce data-driven post-event reports.

Lead post-mortems & implement continuous improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years experience in event or project coordination
  • Proven ability to deliver revenue-generating events
  • Strong communication, negotiation & stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in event/project tools (Asana, Trello, Monday, CRM tools, Google Workspace)
  • Experience securing sponsorships & partnerships
  • Passion for urban culture, storytelling, and community experiences

Location

  • Victoria Island, Lagos.
  • Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
