G4S Nigeria is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Accounts Payable Manager
to join our finance department. We are looking for an individual who embodies our core values of

. In this role, you will be instrumental in handling all internal and external financial reporting and providing crucial business insights.

Your Key Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will report directly to the Finance Director and will be responsible for:

  • Performing monthly Trial Balance and General Ledger reconciliations with perfect accuracy.
  • Championing prompt and correct month-end reporting using both local and Group software, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Coordinating the timely completion of all statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Assisting with the budget and forecast process by comparing budgeted results to actuals.
  • Managing inventory reporting and maintaining the Fixed Asset register.
  • Acting as a Finance Business Partner, managing cross-functional activities with Sales, HR, Payroll, and Operations.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Qualifications:
    A HND/Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with an ICAN/ACCA Certification.
  • Experience:
    A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Essential Skills:
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complexity.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and conflict management abilities.
