Technical management of site systems, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections of assigned areas, while ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Delivery of maintenance projects for new and modified facilities. Analysis of operations data to identify, develop and implement continuous improvement resulting in increased quality and lower operating costs. Additionally, Champion Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) on-site projects include the Loss Prevention System (LPS). Example: Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) projects, efficiencies, etc. Responsible for the implementation/execution of best practices maintenance techniques to deliver a high quality facility while maintaining diligent oversight in the areas of oi System (oi), Safety, and Controls. To manage execution of Maintenance activities through outside contractors.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee Maintenance & Reliability (M&R) projects to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.

  • Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for maintenance and improvement works.

  • Ensure SSHE compliance and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

  • Participate in project planning, permitting, and execution as required.

  • Develop and monitor maintenance and repair procedures in line with company standards.

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.

  • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective project delivery.

  • Provide technical oversight of facility systems such as HVAC, electrical, fire safety, water, and wastewater systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

  • Track and reduce utility consumption and costs through efficiency initiatives.

Perform additional engineering and field maintenance duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering or Building Management-related
  • Previous experience in a closely related position
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Safety, Security and Controls awareness
  • Budget planning and stewardship
  • Working knowledge of facility management technical disciplines, codes etc.
  • Able to manage contractors and vendors to deliver quality works and services
  • A team player with good inter-personal skills
  • Knowledge of facility related regulatory requirements and Company expectations including oi and Controls Intergrity (CI) requirements
