We are expanding our development team and looking for a highly skilled Backend & Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in TypeScript, , and AWS cloud infrastructure.

Role Overview

As a Backend & Cloud Developer at Cetirc, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our backend systems, APIs, cloud functions, and server infrastructure. You will work closely with our mobile and hardware teams to ensure seamless communication between services and stable production systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using TypeScript and
  • Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including:
  • Lambda
  • EC2
  • S3
  • DynamoDB / RDS
  • API Gateway
  • CloudWatch
  • IAM
  • Implement secure and scalable REST APIs and microservices
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the mobile and hardware integration teams
  • Optimize system performance, reliability, and security
  • Handle deployments, monitoring, and debugging in production
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Ensure best practices in DevOps, infrastructure as code, and cloud architecture

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, , and backend development
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EC2, IAM, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture
  • Experience with serverless architecture
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD automation
  • Knowledge of security best practices for authentication, authorization, and data protection
  • Ability to work independently and deliver features in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with biometric or authentication systems
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
  • Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication
  • Previous work in fintech, payments, or hardware-software integration
