We are supporting a global travel and expense technology provider in strengthening its data analytics and reporting capabilities, and seeking a Middle/Senior BI/Data Analyst (Technical / Engineering-Minded). You'll work closely with product, finance, and operations teams to define KPIs, ensure data quality, and drive smarter, data-informed decisions.

The company is modernizing its platforms and seeks a technically oriented BI & Data Analyst who can bridge analytical insight with solid data engineering awareness.

You Have

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst, ideally in travel, fintech, or expense management domains.
  • Strong command of SQL for data querying, transformation, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, KPI design, and performance metrics in SaaS or data-driven environments.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, structured problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency for daily collaboration and reporting.
  • Experience using AI assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) in analytical or development workflows.

Would be a plus

  • Familiarity with travel and expense data, such as GDS, OTA, TMC, or corporate booking platforms.
  • Knowledge of financial or expense management workflows and reporting standards.
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis, automation, or ETL scripting (experience with PySpark is a plus).
  • Experience with data orchestration or workflow tools, such as Airflow, dbt, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of data governance, quality control, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience building or contributing to AI-powered analytics solutions or integrating AI APIs into reporting workflows.

You Are Going To

  • Gather, validate, and interpret large datasets from travel, finance, and operational systems.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track performance, customer behavior, and process efficiency.
  • Partner with product and operations teams to define data-driven KPIs and success metrics.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data structures, ETL logic, and reporting pipelines.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and optimization across the travel and expense lifecycle.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analytics processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data tools, visualization standards, and documentation.
