Sterlin Glams Head Office located in our Ajah Branch needs a Jewelry Photographer capture high-quality, detailed images of jewelry for e-commerce, marketing, and editorial purposes, requiring expertise in specialized lighting, macro photography, and post-production editing. They must collaborate with creative and marketing teams, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate color and detail representation, often using software like Adobe Photoshop. A strong portfolio showcasing experience is essential for this role. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE ROLE.
Key responsibilities
Photography: Capture high-quality images and videos of jewelry using professional equipment, focusing on intricate details and craftsmanship.
Lighting and setup: Implement specialized lighting techniques and setups to minimize reflections and accurately represent the metal, stones, and textures of the jewelry.
Post-production: Edit and retouch images using software like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to enhance quality, correct colors, and ensure consistency across a collection.
Collaboration: Work with marketing, design, and e-commerce teams to align with brand vision, develop creative concepts, and meet specific project requirements.
Image management: Organize, catalog, and label all image files for easy access and retrieval.
Equipment maintenance: Manage and maintain all photography equipment, studio space, and props.
Required skills and qualifications
- Education: At least a HND in a related field is required
- Experience: At least 2 years previous experience in a retail industry
- Technical skills: Proficiency with photography equipment, including macro lenses, and lighting setups, as well as advanced skills in photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop.
- Attention to detail: The ability to focus on the fine details and intricacies of jewelry pieces and achieve high-end, polished results.
- Creativity: Skill in developing creative concepts for photoshoots and a strong sense of composition and styling.
- Experience: Proven experience in jewelry or product photography, which is often demonstrated through a strong portfolio.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with other departments.
- Must reside within Ajah axis
- Understand and appreciate professionalism
- Must be able to work in fast paced and high-pressure environment
- Must be able to work on some weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦250,000.00 per month
