Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The successful candidate will support the organization's financial integrity through accurate data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts monthly
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Maintain organized financial files and ledgers
  • Assist with payroll processing and tax filings
  • Communicate with management and external partners (e.g., auditors or tax consultants)

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar accounting role
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
  • Minimum qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA (optional but preferred)
  • Experience with tax preparation or audit support
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and regulatory compliance

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Saturday
