Reporting: Creative Director

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Salary: 200k to 250k

Industry: Interior Design & Construction

BACKGROUND

My client is a construction, interior design and furnishing product supply firm that undertakes projects on local and international sphere

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and creative Architect to join our team. Specifically with an interior experience having worked at least 3 to 5 years on the job. You will provide architectural support for a variety of projects across all different work stages.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Analyze client's briefs to develop creative concepts.

-Define project requirements and develop design criteria.

-Preparation of detailed working and presentation drawings, specifications and construction documents using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

-Production of 3D models and renderings for presentations.

-Research, test and develop solutions to architectural problems.

-Create building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and in CAD in collaboration with the design team.

-Carry out site inspections, valuations and instructions as required.

-Ensure compliance with all statutory legislation.

-Undertake post completion assessment and de-brief for clients and building users.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-A degree in Architecture/Building Technology or other related field

-3 to 5 years' experience in professional practice

-Proficient in using AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, 3D Max, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and any other CAD software.

-Must be very proficient in developing presentation and working drawings.

-Must have an analytical mind with problem-solving skills and a good awareness of design trends

-Strong attention to details and visual awareness.

-The ability to think ahead, anticipating problems and opportunities and find solutions.

-Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

-Be a positive and engaging force.
