We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven professional looking to build a career in the financial services and investment sector.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.

· Record and reconcile daily transactions including cash, investments, receivables, and payables.

· Maintain the general ledger and ensure timely journal entries.

· Prepare bank and investment reconciliations.

· Assist in processing invoices, expense claims, and disbursements.

· Support the month-end and year-end close processes.

· Assist in preparing tax filings and liaising with tax consultants.

· Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.

· Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

· Support audits (internal and external) by preparing schedules and documentation.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or Senior Accountant.

Qualifications & Experience

· B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· –2 years of accounting or finance experience (experience in financial services is a plus).

· Part qualification in ICAN, ACCA, or similar will be an advantage.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software

· Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
