About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate
French Teacher
to join our secondary school faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality French language instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' academic and personal development in line with the school's curriculum and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach French language to secondary school students across various levels.
• Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide additional academic support where needed to help students achieve learning objectives.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a conducive learning environment.
• Prepare teaching materials, notes, and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
• Participate in departmental meetings, school activities, and professional development sessions.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
• Encourage student participation, curiosity, and appreciation for the French language and culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Teaching certification (TRCN certification is an added advantage).
• Minimum of
  2–3 years teaching experience
  in a secondary school setting.
• Strong command of the French language (spoken and written).
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and manage diverse classrooms.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Passion for education and student development.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools is an advantage.
